LOGO AZ Founders Guild

We are the only peer-to-peer mentoring
community for founders in Arizona.

Being a founder says something about you. It says that you are committed and tenacious. It says that you are in expert in your domain. You have skills and experience that will help other entrepreneurs. But it also means you need help.

Just-in-time mentoring means you connect to the right people at the right time--when you are up against a problem. It means that your expertise will help another founder at just the right time--when they are up against a problem.

  • Expensive: Not everyone can afford the tuition
  • Rigid: They take you through a process that covers areas you may not need
  • Myopic: The same people guide you through the same process, lacking diversity
  • Cost: Quid Pro Quo
  • Flexibility: Just learn what you need to learn from people who’ve been there
  • Diversity: Range of talented professionals, not just a few identified leaders
Everyone has something to teach. Everyone has something to learn.

Our Guiding Principles

1. No card slinging.

We all need to make revenue. We get it, but the AZ Founders Guild is not that kind of networking event. This is our most important rule: NO sponsorship, NO selling, NO soliciting.

2. Get real.

The meeting is about connecting with other founders. Be honest about your entrepreneurial journey and you'll find your tribe.

3. Give it, get it.

Everyone mentors. Everyone gets mentored. No matter how experienced you are, you have something to learn. And no matter how inexperienced you are, you have something to teach!

/guild/ — NOUN, an association of people for mutual aid or the pursuit of a common goal, often having considerable power.
